12:14. Adjustment of the parking brake

Lever drive

If when tightening the lever of the emergency brake against the stop it passes a way, the corresponding from 5 to 8 clicks, adjustment of the emergency brake means it is executed correctly. If the course makes less than 5 clicks, then brake shoes will be partially pressed to a brake disk. If course more than 8 clicks, then efficiency of a zatormazhivaniye emergency brake insufficient.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For access to the regulator of a cable of the emergency brake remove the central console. 2. Weaken a lock-nut (the top nut) and adjust the provision of an adjusting nut so that when tightening the lever of the emergency brake its course made 5–8 clicks. 3. Install the central console.
