14:23. Check of a condition of seat belts

Preventions

Belts which underwent severe stretching at accident should be replaced.

At influence of sunshine and chemicals the tape of a belt loses durability. When losing initial coloring the belt should be replaced.

It is forbidden to process a belt band the chemical compositions, to tint them or to decolour. Structures will weaken a belt. The belt decoloured or weakened by the chemical composition should be replaced.

The belt should be washed out only weak water soap solution. If the belt does not manage to be washed out this solution, then it should be replaced.

Check a condition of all places of fastening of a belt. Bolts of fastening have to be reliably tightened. Remove any traces of corrosion in those places where the belt fastens to a body. Replace the details of fastening struck with corrosion.
