4.19.2. Final installation of a bent shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take a bent shaft from the block of cylinders.
2. Clear a back part of an insert and the place of its installation in the block of cylinders and covers of radical bearings. Establish those inserts on the places.
3. Oil a working surface of an insert pure engine and install a bent shaft in the block of cylinders of the engine.
4. Establish persistent half rings. On four-cylinder engines persistent half rings are established about the radical bearing No. 3, and on V6 engines about the radical bearing No. 2. Measure an axial side play of a bent shaft.
5. Grease the lower inserts in covers of radical bearings with pure engine oil and install covers of radical bearings on the block of cylinders.
6. Grease a carving of bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings with a thin layer of engine oil and screw up bolts, having tightened them the required moment. On the engine 1MZ-FE V6 at first tighten the required moment the lower bolts of fastening, and then side bolts of fastening. At installation of bolts it is necessary to use new washers.
7. Check that the bent shaft rotates smoothly and without jammings.
8. Establish a new back sealing ring of a bent shaft, then install a back cover of a bent shaft on the block of cylinders.
