4.5.2. Installation

Prevention

Do not use bolts for alignment of the transmission concerning the engine. It can lead to splitting or damage of large knots of the engine.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check a condition of support of engine mounts and the transmission. If they are worn-out or damaged, replace them.

2. On models with the mechanical transmission check a condition of coupling. On models with the automatic transmission check a condition of a sealing ring and the plug.

3. On models with the mechanical transmission grease with a small amount of high-temperature lubricant the bearing in an end face of a bent shaft. On models with the automatic transmission grease with high-temperature lubricant a nasal part of the converter.
4. Being careful, install the transmission on the engine.
5. Fix by bolts the transmission to the engine, having tightened them the required moment.
6. Using the load-lifting mechanism, lower the engine together with the transmission in a motor compartment. At installation of the power unit, if necessary, incline and turn it so that it was established into place, without having done harm.
7. Establish bolts of fastening of a suspension bracket of the power unit and tighten them the required moment.
8. Establish earlier removed details and restore everything connect a niya in the sequence, the return to removal.
9. Fill in cooling liquid, engine oil in the engine and, if necessary, add oil to a tank of the amplifier of steering.
10. Start the engine and check its work. Switch off the engine and check the level of all liquids.
