6.13.5. Timer of a nozzle of cold start of the engine of the V6 model 3VZ-FE

The timer is located near the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the electric socket from a timer of a nozzle of cold start of the engine and, using an ohmmeter, check resistance between the corresponding contacts of the relay.
At a temperature of engine below 15 °C resistance of a winding of a timer has to be 25–45 Ohms.
At a temperature of engine more than 30 °C resistance of a winding of a timer has to be in limits of 65-85 Ohms.
2. Check resistance between contact of FTA and weight. It has to make 25–85 Ohms.
