Typical connection of the fuel pipeline with a fuel hose

At removal of the fuel tank fuel level in it has to be minimum.

1. Uncover a jellied mouth of the fuel tank.
2. Remove a weight wire from the accumulator.

In the presence in the code radio receiver against theft, before a detachment of the accumulator check that you have connection codes.

On models since 1993 the system of the airbag of safety is disconnected if the accumulator is disconnected for long term. If a control lamp of a safety cushion it lights up and necessary to burn after repeated connection of the accumulator, it is necessary to address in a specialized workshop for maintenance of system.

3. Lift the car on the elevator or establish over a viewing hole.
4. Support the fuel tank by a jack, having laid a board between a jack and the fuel tank.
5. Remove the central exhaust pipe.
6. Disconnect fuel-supply lines from the fuel tank and close them traffic jams.
7. Supporting the fuel tank, unscrew bolts, the fixing two belts of fastening of the fuel tank.
8. Slowly lower the fuel tank, disconnect from it the remained tubes and the electric socket and take the fuel tank from under the car.
9. Visually check a condition of the fuel tank outside and inside. If in the fuel tank there are pollution or rainfall, wash up it clear water or gasoline.

During the work with the fuel tank do not use naked flame or tools during the work with which there can be a spark.

10. Installation is made in the sequence, the return to removal taking into account the next moments:
– at installation of the fuel tank in the car check that any of hoses was not pressed;
– check that all pipes and hoses were correctly connected and reliably fixed;
– fill in a small amount of fuel in the fuel tank and check fuel system for tightness.
