8.3. System of electronic control (TCCS)

Arrangement of an electronic control unit of ESM in the car

The block of electronic control (ECM) receives signals from various sensors which control the changing operational power setting, such as volume of the air coming to the engine, the air temperature, temperature of cooling liquid, engine turns, delay or acceleration of the course of the car and content of oxygen in exhaust gases. These signals are used by the block (ECM) to determine the correct duration of injection of fuel and to establish the required ignition advancing corner.

In case of malfunction of any sensor the system enters regime of the doubler and ensures functioning of the engine, but with smaller efficiency.

The electronic control unit of ECM is located under the dashboard behind a ware box. For removal of the ESM block it is necessary to remove a ware box and finishing of the dashboard under a ware box.
